I've tried #bravebrowser in the past couple of days... well I imagined worst.
Basically is just like chromium, with the notable exceptions of having adblockers and trackers built-in, Tor in the anonymous mode and the whole crypto/BAT thing.
All are very appreciated, and if you don't care about the rewards of tokens and such it doesn't get in the way at all.
I didn't really need the ad block and stuff, as I already have extensions for that
So far is promising, I may even switch for good
@arteteco
I use brave as primary browser... And yes it is chromium based so thats the similarity
@arteteco I like personalised ads, most people do, it's just that nobody wants their data in some Central server, which is what I like about brave over traditional targeted ads, it's all in device, it's brilliant. Why is Brave inc. the only corporation making privacy sexy? I know there're other companies with great principles but the UI is almost always horrendous..
@arteteco I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out. I still use firefox as my primary, but Brave is my alternative one now.
