Does a mastodon instance with a single user reduce or increase the load of other instances?
Is there a min/max to the number of users that helps the system scale?
"Ask a programming question on the Web" is sometimes as difficult as doing the actual programming. Reducing a problem in complex real-world systems to an clean, minimal, answerable, reproducible example can take serious efforts.
