@mmu_man Now that bitmap support has been added, I'm considering doing some battery-bombed boards that I have.

It seems like it would be fun to sand them down, scan, and trace!

I was talking to a younger software developer who matter-of-factly asked me: "how does a tablet store stuff if it doesn't have files?"

It took me a long time to come to terms with how we could go from a conversation about Python to ... how files work.

Colors for nets in KiCad 7 makes some of this mess much clearer!
