@freemo Since QOTO bypasses the usual 500 char limit on toots, what happens when users on other mastodon servers access thos large toots? Do they just get the first 500 char?

I could just check for the character countdown to reach 65035, but I would love to to be able to limit myself to 500 automatically. Most of my communication and tooting is going to be with users on other servers.

You could write up a small grease monkey script that indicates the amount of characters you typed out.
