Participating in the Löwenmarsch (xn--lwenmarsch-ecb.de/#/900), which is a #charity #hike. So if anyone wants to donate.

While on the hike I will be quick mapping for #OpenStreetMap.

Lots of people try to simplify that it is only macro and micro nutrients. If that is the case then we could live off of supplements.

Though one thing we still haven't (at least mainstream nutrition) quantified is the amount of organic compounds we need like alkaloids or antioxidants.

Next time you ask yourself if this food item is meek in essential nutrients, could it be rich organic compounds.

It is known that has little conclusive scientific backing, though nonetheless it is interesting to see personal change over time.

The first three years I took it, I resulted with -A. Then slowly through time I was moving more towards and identified for a long time as ENXP.

Then I learnt that there is little scientific backing of many personality tests. Plus I totally ignored portrayal bias. The idea that one chooses the answers to what one wants them to be vs to what they are.

So I based a lot, if not all, my answers on the person I was at best of times, which was when I was intoxicated with alcohol. And for a long time I thought that this is the true nature of the individual. So in my eyes it made logical sense.

Now there is also the association bias, the idea that if you hear/read an emotional neutral text, on average, anyone can assimilate to at least one point. So by human nature being predisposed to the need of fitting in, association bias is one's foe.

Considering one of the prime factors of that it's hard to change one's personality and that one is born with it, then getting various results over a set time interval, might say more of how one feels at the given time, then one's actual personality.

Nonetheless I just redid it again and got -A. At least this result falls align with a lot of my day-to-day actions. Though I am still questioning which other biases are here at play?

Took the time to upgrade my config. Completely scratched the old one.

There were two major things I learnt:

1. It is a pain to setup neovim on a shared directory. Best to ignore the suggestion altogether and multi install it for every separate user.
2. When using in the config, one needs to update one's terminal with that font version plus assign it. Didn't realize that one cannot setup a new font just for neovim like one can do with

The main upgrade consisted of using a pre-built config written completely in .

Setting up the MariaDB is so much easier than xampp. Figured it out like in an hour.

Just reflecting now back to how many hours it took me to setup groups to then allow other users to use xampp, only to come to the end of line, and learn that the user needs sudo permissions.

On my other workstation, xampp was always finicky. Hopefully I can apply the new knowledge onto the other system.

After hours of trying to get to work without sudo permission, I got to the point that I would need to modify the source code.

So instead I decided to remove the module and start anew. This time with a different approach of only installing the one service I currently need from xampp, which is the server. Though might go with instead.

Are there any downsides of going with MariaDB over MySQL, considering that the project was written for MySQL?

When I make with milk. I first pour the milk then the coffee.

It seems weird, though makes more sense. Since I realized that if I follow the typical route first coffee then milk, more times than not I either burn myself or it is filled to the rim.

This way I have less of a chance of filling it to the rim while getting the desired ratio of coffee:milk.

As an added bonus the mixing is done more efficiently, since the less dense fluid is already present in the cup before adding the more dense one.

that you can verify your key by signing it. This was introduced to me when setting up ssh for .

I get to setup anew. This time around I have been taking in more features and closing up other security flaws. Also trying to go fully which will definitely stagnate my work progress for the next couple of weeks.

Security flaw I fixed is having multiple user accounts instead of just having root and letting root only do the bare minimum in content creation.

The one feature I integrated is having a shared directory over multiple accounts.

Some open source shifts I have already taken:

Failed CIA mind control experiment triggers the war on drugs

Back during the golden age of LSD experimentation from the 1950s - 1965, basically anyone could get their hands on LSD. Though also researchers were trying to figure out what LSD is good for.

One of the early findings hinted towards mind alterations which the CIA quickly hopped onto it for personal gain. Though sadly the object they were testing on, got loose and told all the college kids of his experience.

Now that would all be fine if there wasn't a war going on in Vietnam and they were looking for troops. But the hippies and/or drug users were declining to serve for the country, which was unheard of at that point of time.

So one could conclude that mind opening drugs that break the confines of the matrix, break at the same time the traditions of the government, and thus to prevent this from happening we got to ban the initial spark. Since an open minded person cannot take orders, thus has little value to the government.

The ban is called the war on drugs.

Welcome to the internet where everyone has the potential to give you unsolicited commentary.

Depending on the day and mood of the individual, it will be troll-like, helpful, or meaningless (this list is not exhausted). This risk exists with each piece of content that is created. The ideal circumstance is that the commentary aligns with the motivation and/or goal of the content.

Now in the case, the two don't align, you are not obligated to respond. (A reaction is guaranteed to occur, which includes no action.)

---

So what I don't understand is when content creators get fed up with the commentary that doesn't align with the mood they created.

Like isn't the obvious answer to just not share the content!? Especially if you are not willing to take the risk.

Or is this how echo chambers/filter bubbles are created? The idea that like minded find each other and never question the narrative.

If that is the case, then that is a sad potential of internet.

the reason why the cabin of an airplane is darkened during taking off and landing is to reduce the amount of time to get out of the vehicle during an emergency. Since it takes some time for the eyes to adjust to the dim environment. Further the landing and taking off portion of the flight are the most dangerous. Thus, in the case of an emergency, every second counts.

Now the question is with us having access to blue light devices, if we are negating the well meant precautions. Also it is not forbidden to use the overhead lamp to continue reading.

Does anyone else consider boredom as a factor when deciding when to go to sleep? Or is it just me...

Considering that it seems like waiters don't get paid an income in the States and have to be social to increase the chance of a tip. This could be considered a form of prostitution, especially if the waiter was flirting.

TIL that Moscow mule was invented in the USA. There are two current origin stories, either it was to sell more vodka to the population or it was a way to get rid of old product that wasn't selling.
