Day 2 is come!!

I made two article.

> mstdn.jp in 2020 | Interview with Sujitech | ALIS
> alis.to/blank71/articles/KmQBb

Do you know mstdn.jp? It’s one of the big server that led the Japanese Mastodon boom in 2017. The maintainer changed several times and now is . I asked Sujitech some questions.

I claimed to my previous server maintainers that they violeted Mastodon’s licence. They revert the change to avoid disclosing the source. After that, they changed the source without disclosing. This happened about a year ago. The article is the follow-up of it.

RSS feed fans! You can subscribe to any Mastodon account through an RSS reader if you prefer.

✅ To get a Mastodon account's RSS feed address, just add .rss to the end of the account's public page URL. For example mstdn.social/@feditips becomes mstdn.social/@feditips.rss

Note that the feed only shows public toots. It will not show replies to others and restricted visibility messages.

Incident of copying other servers posts.

Chinese server named Mao copied other servers accounts and posts without the permission of the original accounts. This can be said pretending and it makes people confused when searching the accounts.

So its been about a month since the QOTO Moderated Groups Server came online at groups.qoto.org. It adds group capability to the fediverse with an owner capable of moderating membership in the group unlike previous group servers which were completely unmoderated and open.

We have had some amazing groups form and overall the server seems to be the most popular on the fediverse, I’m seeing more activity than the open-group servers which is great!

As such I wanted to share a list of a few groups I know of so far in case anyone is looking for a group to follow. Just follow the group as you would a user and you will be in the group and receive group posts in your timeline!

This article is written by our friend and we translated it recently. In our perspective, it’s a bold step of Twitter to announce its plan of decentralization, though we haven’t heard any news since then. It’s a long term effort to build the portal to the new Internet on top of existing platforms, and MaskNetwork would like to facilitate this journey. hope Fediverse folks will enjoy it.

Sujitech became the owner of mstdn.jp and mastodon.cloud from July this year, but lacked the technical staff with Mastodon's operation and development skills, and could not start maintenance, updates, function development, etc. This time, we are looking for the part-time staff.

It's a large-scale server, technically interesting, and has various problems. If you are familiar with your skills, please apply.

We've closed a new round on Maskbook/Mask.io recently and will keep support fediverse. Including both financially and technically - coindesk.com/mask-network-twit

is one of the Fediverse projects like Mastodon.

The impersonated application named "Misskey" is published at Google Play Store. It is not from official so it need to complain to Google to remove it.

How is this Android application related to Misskey? 🤔 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.misskey.app

Okay, I tried download this app, It looks like a converted version web app. (not even better than PWA, also no Dark mode and ServiceWorks)

The App points to the misskey.world instance. I am not sure whether the instance is a commercial operation. I doubt if it's competing with products like Parler
🤔

This year, I created a calendar called Fediverse Advent Calendar 2020. Currently, there are 57 articles entered using the three calendars. I expect there will be a few more in the future.
adventar.org/calendars/5019
adventar.org/calendars/5049
adventar.org/calendars/5157

All the scheduled articles are in Japanese, but please read them in machine translation. Your entries are also welcome. Of course, you can write in English or your own language.

In Japan, there is a service called ADVENTAR that hosts the "Advent Calendar" by blog. It is also hosted by a technical blog service called Qiita.

Since the spread of Mastodon in Japan in 2017, a calendar using these services has been created for each user of Mastodon, distributed SNS, and servers every year, and many articles have been contributed.

Japanese Fediverse users will write “Fediverse Advent Calendar 2020”. Many people will write articles everyday from December 1 to 25. More than 50 articles are reservation now!! You can get more information from the quote toots.

Will other countries or languages or communities write like this?
