@freemo
i know wikipedia isn't a perfect source, but it's of a different opinion https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viral_vector_vaccine (no quote, i'm on mobile and something acts up..)
I was mixing it up with the Sinopharm/Sinovac which is the traditional vaccine. Sadly you may not have access to it though if you are in the USA.
@freemo
i'm in the EU :) we also don't have sinovac here, but i think i've read something about that it'll be available eventually.

I too would prefer to get a traditional vaccine, so lets hope so.

The EU accepts these inactivated vaccines if you wish to enter the Schengen zone (which have my preference, despite the source strain being close to two years old by now) despite not distributing them. I've been looking in getting jabbed with thee and how I can make this happen, and so far my only choice seems to be traveling abroad and getting jabbed.

it's usually the whole virus, so more for your immune system to learn from. might be better in face of mutations (just my guess).
@bonifartius
You are correct, I stand corrected.
