@freemo i just find it a bit bewildering when people actually _mix_ german and english. it can happen while speaking. while writing it's not hard to check for the right words, especially with spell-checkers now included in browsers :)

@bonifartius depending on the context i suspect a lot of the time people arent really proof reading. I think part of the reason is because spell check marks a lot of things as wrong that are intentional like leaving out apostrophes, so it kinda gets lost in the noise.

@freemo i think it's common courtesy to check the things one writes for obvious typos etc., but that isn't as common anymore now. people often write like it's a whatsapp message ;)
