anyone here who knows a good way to make your own fil(mjölk)?

@Sphinx @bonifartius "Filmjölk (Swedish: [ˈfîːlmjœlk]), also known as fil, is a traditional fermented milk product from Sweden, and a common dairy product within the Nordic countries. It is made by fermenting cow's milk with a variety of bacteria from the species Lactococcus lactis and Leuconostoc mesenteroides.The bacteria metabolize lactose, the sugar naturally found in milk, into lactic acid"

@WillJ

Thank you, it's a dairy product.
You replied me while I'm search on Google, thanks again!

@bonifartius

@bonifartius Something along the line of "Get some first, then keep adding milk", i.e. similar to sourdough

@niclas fil is hard to come by here in germany. maybe i have to wait for the next vacation :)
i know a farm which sells raw milk, maybe i'll experiment with that. just how it's been done for centuries :D

@Elfie as starter? i'm not sure, ricotta is cooked, so there shouldn't be many bacteria left.

@bonifartius
I'm still not sure what you're trying to cook but if it's ricotta it shouldn't be difficult, you just need milk and vinegar at the very least :02_learn:

@Elfie it's like yogurt but different :) but ricotta also is an interesting project. i like nearly everything made from milk (except blue cheeses ;)

@bonifartius
I only handle ricotta because customers like it, ich hasse Käse :02_gao:

I'll always forget to take pics of it and by the time I do they are all sold already :02_fish:
