KDE Telemetry collects data on you, if you opt-in, and it has a clear description of what is collected, why, what the retention policy is and how you can switch it back off.
It's off by default, and distributors of binaries (e.g. distro's) can disable it entirely at compile time.
That's how it should be (policy is here: https://community.kde.org/Policies/Telemetry_Policy )
I got #bananui 🍌 , the GUI for #LinuxMobile on feature phones, to work together with #wroomd on a #Nokia2780 with #postmarketOS. It's now almost possible to use it as an actual phone! 📞
UI source code: https://git.abscue.de/obp/bananui/shell
WIP pmaports fork: https://gitlab.com/affenull2345/pmaports/-/tree/nokia-weeknd (currently missing audio for voice calls and kernel packaging)
I'm gonna go on a trip tomorrow to take photos of places and things with my PinePhone and Samsung Galaxy SII.
Both the SII and the Omnivision camera inside the PinePhone were released at a similar time period in 2011.
I will be using stock Android on the SII (final update) along with PostmarketOS edge with the latest build of Megapixels installable from the edge repo.
I'm excited to see the results I get in better daylight as both suffer greatly with night shots.
phosh 0.30.0 is out 🚀📱:
The major change is switching #phoc to newer #wlroots but there's more fixes and improvements.
Check out the full release notes at https://phosh.mobi/releases/rel-0.30.0/

If you're using an external dock with touchscreen: Due to the wlroots update we need to update the touch mappings to make touch on the external output still work. There will soon be a phosh-mobile-settings bugfix release to make this simple for known docks: https://gitlab.gnome.org/guidog/phosh-mobile-settings/-/merge_requests/63

pmbootstrap 2.0.0 is here:
https://git.sr.ht/~postmarketos/pmbootstrap/refs/2.0.0
After bumping the minor version 53 (!) times in 1.x.y, we have some
breaking changes justifying a major version bump.
Highlights of this release are generating fstab and crypttab, support for the mtkclient flasher and better locale selection in "pmbootstrap init".
For users it should still feel the same overall. Enjoy this release, and thanks so much to everybody who contributed to it! ❤️

@jmlich tried nemo again today, it's a bit difference than I remember it. Still seems like it's very much in early development.
