@freemo are you talking about democratic people republics like russia, north Korea and China?

@thor if god had gender, it would mean, we have many gods with all the possible genders :) the only reason to have a gender is to reproduce, and thing is, there are many species that reproduce without genders, and those that can change their gender, and those that have both genders in one creature.
I'd say, god does not reproduce with sex, it is omnigenderous. It is not one creature, but rather something common between creatures that believe in it.

I rather like rocks and trees though :)

Cracked a frame, tore video link wire, downgraded antenna from dipole to monopole, and did quite some slippery tree climbs to recover my drone.

@aviancer my guess is, the receiver port might be configured on wrong pins in betaflight.

This is my video for the week 2 challenge

It took me literally the whole week to learn, I only managed to sort of do all the tricks within the time limit in the last hour before the deadline.

Submitted my first video for .

I had several interesting spots in mind, flew 2 of them plenty of times, and got tons of excitement from my flights.

Here Is my video

I guess, I will also make another video with another tree. I liked it a bit more, but that good flight was too long, and I did not manage to do another one, faster, in a good weather, and with clean performance.

Did a timed round on a playground in FPV Freerider under 30 seconds (for now only in angle mode).
Practice makes perfect, a couple of weeks ago I could not ever go past the middle of the course without crashing :)

@jayreding just discovered it yesterday, struggling my way through the preseason challenge :)
So exciting to be a noob.

So, I'm learning to fly fpv drones.
I have betafpv meteor 75.
It is too charged for my indoors skills, and too light to fly in strongish wind.
Today we visited my mother in law, and i had an interesting experience.
1. LOS: i did a walk-the-dog exercise around the house in a strongish wind, and I did not lose my drone :) although sometimes it was full steam ahead just to stay in place. Did not dare to fly FPV.
2. Indoors FPV - I managed to do some decent loops around some rooms that are not much bigger than in my house, yet that extra space gave me just enough room for turns.

Well, it just became even more interesting. We have a piece from circuitscribe that shines red or blue depending on the current direction. We made it glow red AND blue.
I would not believe this myself if I did not see. Look at the scheme of the circuit. I could not take a picture, the effect was not stable.

My guess is, static charge shifts an electron-hole balance and leads to weak recombination.

Pity the effect is so weak and unstable. We can observe it at night, and when we are not ready with instruments.

@freemo actually, diodes blinked even without touching the pc. This might be static discharge, but I wonder, where the difference in potential comes from, and how much energy is needed to excite the diodes.

Played with LED strip and noticed some diodes glow when we touch them with fingers. The strip is not connected to anything. On one hand, I understand that the electric energy comes from somewhere around. On the other hand, I don't understand what exactly is happening there. Can we leverage this effect somehow? :)

My 10 y.o. daughter bikes to school. I make her a company. Bike day is better than a no bike day :)

So, the best surface to ride in winter is a clean pavement.
Second best is when it's evenly covered in snow.
The worst is when it's a muddy car lane with cars.
