Arrrgggh I was just thinking that maybe playing Minecraft on Easy was maybe too easy, and was shortly after bumped into lava in the Nether by something unseen and died before I could get out or anything, and ended up back in my main base where I re-equipped myself and noticed that I was a little low on both coal and iron, so I went out exploring and found lots of lovely coal and iron and was on the way home again when I stopped to explore a strange bunch of terracotta bricks under a waterfall and ended up somehow falling into the chasm and dying, and then I just ran back to try to find the place again before nightfall, but failed to.
Waaahhhhhh. #minecraft and very much #FirstWorldProblems
There is nothing wrong with outrage based on facts.
Outrage about the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade may will probably keep Biden in the White House.
But manufactured outrage to fuel a for-profit industry is not good for anyone.
It is not good for democracy.
It is not good for the victims.
It is not good for the people trying to put out forest fires of misinformation with a squirt gun of facts.

@glyph I had a lot of people ask for a clock, but they're a bunch of trouble to build out of atoms, so I decided to learn how to write code for the iPhone and built an app. I got it approved by the App Store and now you can get a software-only, free, no ads, no tracking version of the Solar Metric Clock so you always know where the sun is.
House Speaker Johnson reveals at SOTU that he didn't even bother to read the bi-partisan border bill before declaring it dead?
"As House speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) shook his head in apparent disagreement, Senator James Lankford (R-OK), a staunch conservative who negotiated the bill, nodded, saying, 'That’s true.'"
Nazis
"the Nazi party rose to power in the wake of the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic that carried a long tail of disability and illness. In 2020, CNN noted that, “the relative impact of the flu was correlated to strength in support for Nazism.” Further, disabled people were the first targets of the mass execution campaigns of the Nazis. Public propaganda labeled disabled people “useless eaters” (which sounds more and more familiar these days), and the eugenicist murders of disabled people led to
Posted! About going out to live music and then the Met the next day, in NYC. Which is notable, as I don't get out much!

Mistigram: @pixelblip's #teletext animation here, with high fidelity accurately reproducing through period technology the experience of attending a #rave in the '80s, was intended for inclusion in the new music-themed MIST0224 artpack collection... but we had to withdraw it upon learning that it singlehandedly doubled the final filesize of the pack. (Fortunately, you can enjoy it here.) PLUR and rave on!
