Absolutely stunned that people I could have sworn were sensible are lining up to endorse Post as their preferred Twitter off-ramp. Because _these_ right-wing libertarian billionaire owners will behave totally differently, you see.

It’s not remotely the same in terms of moral consequence, but it really does feel like the Iraq war, in the sense that a bunch of us are going to wind up having been 100% right about this and it will nonetheless get us absolutely zero extra credibility.

okay so now i have specific needs from an instance:

-general use, I want to post life posts and liveblog video games
-okay with un-cw'd food-- it's possible that ill be able to handle doing this once i get use to the cw as filter system, but at the point i'm at now, i need to be able to talk about food in certain ways
-won't be hostile to me doing as much fucking self promotion as i want and won't demand certain parasocial-friendly behavior to "make up for it"
