Just launched my very own Instance of One on the fediverse. I had another one but it was just experimental. Wish me luck and feel free to connect. I'm still setting things up but it'll be all sorted before the end of this week. https://abraham.su/@chris
In tonight's meditation I was reminded that while the experience of altered states can be fascinating, and instructive, and sometimes healing, meditation for me isn't much about obtaining a special experience which I'm not currently having
It's more about allowing an appreciative and intimate connection with the experience which I 𝑎𝑚 currently having.

The Secret History of Celery -The crisp crunch of its stalks was not native to the wild plant from which it originated. That texture, along with celery’s pale green color and dramatic spray of leaves, was created through decades of trial and error, transforming what was originally a little-used bitter herb into one of the most prized vegetables of the 19th century. #cooking https://www.epicurious.com/ingredients/how-celery-became-so-popular-history
Message from me and my husband @WardQNormal to young #LGBTQ+ folks at #Christmas who haven't come out to their families yet: Stay strong. Believe in yourself, your truth, and your future. Find a supportive circle of friends who love you for who you are. Even relatives you can't talk to now may come around.
