Missed Connection - Corner Cafe, yesterday at about noon

I first noticed you when I sat at a table on the patio and began to drink my latte. The coffee was hotter than I anticipated and I accidentally spit some out on myself.

I looked up to see if anybody noticed, and that’s when I saw you. We locked eyes and I could tell you had seen my clumsiness and I was initially embarrassed, but as I stared longer, I knew that there wasn’t any judgment in your eyes, only love.

You were with a group of friends who were all drinking their coffees while you casually drank your water. Over the next half hour or so, I caught you looking at me several times with your gorgeous blue eyes, but I was too afraid to approach and I could tell that other people were also vying for your attention.

I got up to use the restroom with hope that I could muster some courage, but when I returned, your friends were already leaving with you in tow and I knew I’d missed my shot, so I’m hoping you’ll see this post instead.

Me: brown hair, sunglasses, t-shirt, and jeans

You: piercing blue eyes, salt and pepper hair, red collar, perhaps a Siberian Husky mix?

Today I learned I can dump some mixed nuts in the Cuisinart, turn it on, let it run until mixed nut butter is made. No additives but quite yummy on potato bread!

Numerous waterfalls adorn the north western section of the Trans Canada Highway in Ontario along Lake Superior, one of which is the Aguasabon Falls and Gorge.

This one is around the small town of Terrace Bay. There are no trails that lead further into the gorge beyond this lookout point, at least none that I could find.
