Please don’t confuse what is legal with what is right. There is some overlap, of course, but not as much as one might think. I'm obsessed with brown snakes. They are the only snake that is normally found in NYC, though they have become very rare in recent decades. They are small and cute, and just part of a full natural scene. I love the smaller snakes, and blind snakes the strange ones.

Journalists seem prepared to let Ron DeSantis use his forthcoming book to define himself for a national audience, rather than giving that audience the background needed to assess what DeSantis will say. I think this is a dereliction of journalistic duty.
