@FtRupertTed Exactly, and how we find some of these KOOL folks. Business like accounts, celeb accounts, fan accounts, one themed accounts, never interested me. I have RSS news readers, I don't need CBC to tweet the news I already know. But if they engage (which some reporters do) I will follow them. Otherwise, I have no interest in accounts that just fill the fediverse up with stuff. I can get that in a Google search. I want real people. Real events. real concerns. No algorithms @SusanHR @rolle
Argh, #HelloFresh seems to have replaced their refreshingly friendly and responsive and convenient and helpful email support with a useless and condescending AI-like front end that can be persuaded to turn you over to a real person via a clunky and cutoff-prone web chat app thing.
Sigh.

I think Trump's Proud Boys statement needs to be read in full. Most people forget the very next sentence, which I think is an explicit call to arms
"Proud Boys, stand back and stand by! But I'll tell you what, somebody's got to do something about antifa and the left."
Classic mobspeak. "Somebody" must do something.

I've podcasted and written a lot about the Christian Right, but wait until you hear about TESCREALism, a new post-libertarian parareligion based on the very worst scifi
It's totally insane, but many of the world's richest people have bought into it. It's like Scientology for oligarchs, minus the centralization.
Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and many others seem to be devotees.
It's so weird that many people find it hard to believe. It is real though, and very wealthy. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/inside-tescreal-the-new-techno-religion-thats/id1486920059?i=1000634602739

It's NaNoWriMo month!
Despite being one of my favourite things, I guess I totally forgot about it.
NaNoWriMo is an *excellent* exercise for building writing muscles. Even just trying it is a great idea. I've "only" successfully finished it twice, but it's done me a ton of good.
Why not start now? Write 1500 words every day and you've got half a novel by the start of December… but remember: the practice is the reward, not the outcome.
"Read, read, read. Read everything — trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it. Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window." ―William Faulkner

A consciousness somehow associated with matter.
Posting about culture, philosophy, politics, AI Art Tools, NaNoWriMo, Software Development occasionally, the relationship of consciousness to matter.

If your profile tells me nothing about you, it's less likely I'll follow you (back).
