I’ve seen people saying they have no hope for Harris because of “history,” and I suppose they mean the way the media treated Hillary Clinton. #Misogynoir is an absolutely valid concern here.
But the way I see it, the most recent relevant history includes the defeat of Trump in 2020, the results of midterm elections and many state elections since Dobbs, the Labour victory in the UK, and the defeat of the far right in France.
