@cyrilpedia Interesting. KarXT truly does use a novel mechanism of action- and we've not had thatbin quite some time. Effect sizes in studies are okay but KarXT isn't a miracle cure for schizophrenia of course.
We'll see what its role will be in clinical prectice, but cautious optimism is warranted.
@AE4WX Yes, sorry I'm out of gift links.
"Larger-than-life screen personalities are necessarily watchable. Some also prove mysteriously listenable. Lynch is among them, a member of the small pantheon of filmmakers whose mystique is partly indebted to the textures of their speech: the gorgeous intonations of Orson Welles, the reminiscing tones of Agnès Varda, the runaway-train enthusiasm of Quentin Tarantino."

'If approved by regulators at the US Food and Drug Administration later this month, the experimental drug, known as KarXT, a twice daily pill, will arguably be the first truly novel treatment for #schizophrenia in more than seven decades.'

'Toda a história entre a JC Decaux e a Câmara Municipal de Lisboa resume o guião clássico de Moedas: quando uma coisa corre mal, começa por culpar o antecessor, mente para fugir das responsabilidades e, se é apanhado, enfia a casca de Calimero na cabeça, vitimizando-se e pessoalizando o debate, para fugir ao escrutínio.'

Musk fanboys who should know better.
Reflecting on a conversation about Elon Musk with someone in a leadership position at work. They'd read several puff pieces about him and were wittering on about what a visionary he was and how he was such an inspirational leader. This was post-Twitter takeover but pre-undeniable nuttiness. #Musk was quite a useful barometer back then to figure out a person's character. Now Musk fanboyship is just an instant red flag.

Boundaries exist for a reason. You don’t have to reply to a work email or Slack message as soon as you see it.
