Die Toniebox bekommt - zunächst testweise - ein ChatGPT Upgrade und soll den Kindern selbstständig Geschichten erzählen.

Was genau erzählt wird, möchten die Eltern bitte vorher selber redaktionell prüfen, indem sie die generierten Geschichten vorhören.
Wo da dann genau die beworbene Zeitersparnis bleibt: auf der Strecke.

Und natürlich schauen damit auch die Autor.innen in die Röhre, aus deren kreativer Energie ChatGPT neue, generische Geschichten anmischt.

Ich hab ja Mal gedacht ChatGPT und Co führten dazu, dem Menschen stumpfe Arbeiten abzunehmen, so dass mehr Raum für Freizeit und kreative Betätigung entsteht.
Jetzt läuft's genau andersrum.

Slighlty disappointing to see #Influxdb 3's release saying it's "45x faster than Open Source" (referring to the Influx OSS version), and moving to a fully cloud-hosted system... And yet another rewrite, of course.

#timescale's TSL license feels more sensible, keeping the code open source and usable. We think they found a sustainable middle ground for their software, especially compared to what Influx just did.

I'm very happy about my new article on the Fedora Magazine website. I'm revisiting an old topic here about how to ingest and visualize time series data with InfluxDB and Python, but this time using public data sets from the state of Connecticut.

The article has source code for the script as usual, so feel free to experiment.
