This is what happened when people in the U.K. were asked how much health care costs in the U.S.
Remember that our outrageous for-profit system is not the norm in other countries.
We can and we must do better.
We need Medicare for All now.

Not everyone has insurance, and even the ones who do, have different levels of deductibles, and some go untreated.
It's a shame, that Health is treated as a huge cash cow, in the US.
Their cost per person per year is higher than everyone else. The outcomes are not better.
If you dont have insurance in america then you can either afford it, Or you spend your money poorly.
Remember we have a welfare system. So if you are truly too poor to afford health insurance then it is free, that is true for everyone
@freemo @design_RG quoting things out of context, then presenting vague disapproving emotion, without making any direct meaningful statements?
That's a manipulation, yep.
@namark
Agreed that would be
@design_RG
You have a point, but this is part of a political campaign, and sound bites are what some people can absorb only. After being bombarded by excessive distraction and publicity messages.
Doesn't detract from it being a HUGE issue.
For the record, I am an observer from afar - not in the US, not voting, but everyone in the world gets affected by the results of the US election.
Just see what's going on for the past 3 years.
2020 will not be a pretty year to live in, me thinks. Things could turn nasty.
@design_RG
Why does everyone in this video act like poor people arent getting free medicare as they do. Everyone else has insurance. So these arent actually prices people are paying...
