@zleap @globcoco I am glad to see you both alread knew the MarkDownTutorial.com website -- I came accross it just at the rignt moment in my journey, when I was first starting the blog in December 2019 and struggling with the ugliness of html markup. Not fun at all.
I found someone's Topic in another instance (visiting others, always fun), and went -- was astonished at how wonderful that tutorial is!
I am a Tech educator, and the tutorial is interactive and the best application of tech to learning that I have ever seen. I took the lessons and practiced, then switched over to my text editor and applied them. Revised the pages I already had made, and started new ones in plain markdown.

Latex I have never used, but looks wonderful for complex Math equations, so there's power on it.
Paul, not sure if LaTex is supported in the Forum, although you could create code and finished output here and copy paste images for illustration there.
