Good informative article written by an internal medicine doctor, on the NY Times.

The reality of what happens to a patient which needs ventilation due to severe respiratory illness is not pretty. Sometimes, even if they survive, there are damages to various body parts and systems.

Good to know beforehand, and decide if you want that kind of treatment if needed, and how far should it go.

Nice photo found on Facebook.

Don't care much about the bikes, but that's a great looking aeroplane. 😄

A nice photo of Flanders cycling in early Spring (wet weather, and look at the stone pavement. Slick as...)

"Italy changes strategy and follows in South Korea's footsteps"

So far, South Korea seems to have been the best handling of the pandemic. AND -- they did it on short order, without the benefit of seeing what other countries were doing and how it worked.

Their cases started spreading soon after the original Wuhan lockdown in China. Now it seems Italy is changing course.

Considering the nice number of Likes and Boosts that my Cat theme posts are getting, there's clearly room for more Feline posting !!!

Meow, Georgia! @georgia

And I just found someone selling a very rare, Vintage, custom built, Gardin frameset.

This is for a Triathlon model bike (same as mine, which is a complete example, all original). Being sold as a frameset with original wheels for a decent price considering this is a Constructeur frame.

102 years later, the advice from public health and doctors is eerily similar -- a newspaper clipping from 1918 (from a Portuguese newspaper) with Spanish Influenza advice.

New domestic Roundabout road sign for CovidTimes, as posted by a Portuguese friend. 😜

"Cycling Melbourne in the Time of the Coronavirus!

I cycle everyday through semi-deserted streets, where cars and pedestrians are few, but cyclists plentiful. We nod, wave and smile as we pass. It's a trifle eerie.

Of note is the amount of parents now taking their very young children for rides around the streets. Cute.

Below: Reservoir Train Station in Melbourne's north. Nuh, not many passengers today!"

Better with less cars for sure!
