@williamlweaver I think part of the reason is opinion pieces like that. So many half truths and misattribution errors that I almost didn't finish reading it. I can see how people feel divided when pieces like this and the stuff that comes out of the WoPo+HuffPo keep maligning reality.

@williamlweaver I'm really happy that our economy is booming but it bothers me that we've had to artificially stimulate it via revocation of environmental protections.
We're cashing in our our future for artificial gains today.

@Trillenial Telegram isn't open-source. Part of the problem is the network effect but the other part is the lack of a clear winner in the solution space. There's no FOSS software as polished as WhatsApp.

@arteteco Giving out pamphlets or flyers for your events at the farmers market might also work.
The kind of people that attend those would probably be interested in doing some 5-gal bucket patio-gardening.
