Oh hey, yes the Internet back in the day was great! When you didn't seem to notice intelligent genial conversations, because it just was. What happened that we feel a need to point that out in 2021? Has tech changed? Maybe. Have people change. Hardly, people have existed for at least 20 years, perhaps even longer. Huh. It's a mystery. Oh well.

@freemo I started paying attention to politics full time (it was zero time before) when some dude said he enjoys grabbing chicks by the puzzy and mocked a handicapped guy, was running for President of the "most best country" in the world. And a bunch of people said, sounds good. So I says to myself, this is going to be quite amusing. and I wasn't let down.
I have loled more in 5 years then in the entirety of my existence.

So when people ask me how I feel about current politics, I say.

If the barrier to enter wasn't removed by the iphone/android, the Kardashian Krew of social media wouldn't have prompted you to notice that having a genial, intelligent conversion is now considered rare.
