I can't stop being surprised at these YouTube channels that can have like 1M subscribers channel with only like 20K or less views on months old videos. Though for me personally subscribing to a channel is like expressing my support of it, like hey you have one more viewer - but not that I watch/closely follow everything on my Home timeline. I just go to a channels I want to watch manually usually.

I was so impressed with idea of Starbase being a city that I even had a dream about it today. That is really cool.

Everything was in order without any updates with #Qoto. I personally think, if something works - don't touch it, let it just work as it is if you're not sure you not break it. I don't think there was real need to update, and, by the way, #Fedibird didn't need any updates with downtimes - it just updated seamless. Anyway I hope Qoto admins will find ways to repair everything this year or next. I'm patient. Qoto is too cool and unique to give up on it anytime. Qoto and Fedibird my only two favorite #Fediverse instances, and #Misskey. Because "Keyword subscribe" feature - idea which I think was inspired by, taken from Misskey. Misskey also has "Instance mute" feature, much better than blocking instances.

I wish there were Fediverse instances that show in hashtags only local posts. It will help fight Fediverse "shouting into the void" problem if people will care more about their instance posts than other instances. It will give more visibility to your instance people with few followers instead. I know there are local timelines but they are not sorted, and hashtags is way to sort/categorize posts.

Tesla were uploading some impressive videos of their humanoid robot on their YouTube channel. I didn't knew Tesla develops these kind of robots too and they seem already better than others in the field at it. Their humanoid robot model seem less bulky and more human-like.

@askesis you speak as if markdown is only thing broken on Qoto. Qoto is seriously broken right now and admin probably having trouble with fixing everything - it may take a long time. I think he should ask help from Fedibird instance admin, considering that Qoto looks like was inspired by Fedibird and share a lot Fedibird code for some of its advanced features so he may know what to do. #qoto

"Keyword subscribe" feature is not working. Is it just me or it is for everyone? Please comment if it works for you. I hope all problems with #qoto get sorted out in the next 15 days of the month.

I just found out that besides #Qoto and #Fedibird, #Misskey too has Follow keywords function. Misskey don't have (or does it?) Follow hashtags function but I think you don't need follow hashtags if you follow keywords.

@Linux reason for "quick un-boost" may also be that they want to push your post to other #Fediverse instances to give it more discoverability but do not want it on their user account.

The most absurd thing in modern social networks for me is that I can't delete posts from Home or Lists - just why? Because with #email "posts" from Inbox can be deleted, it's how it should be - why can't it be the same with #ActivityPub. Why should it be just endless stream no one care about - never to be seen or found again and everyone think it's okay to flood each other timelines with too much of everything? I don't think it's normal that we supposed to not not scroll back down to previous days and not care what we received before. #fediverse #socialnetwork

Are there some other #Mastodon instances which have viewing local timelines of other instances feature beside #qoto and #fedibird? I was surprised mastodon.social do not have it. #fediverse

I'm surprised #peertube is used for hosting hundreds of thousands videos no one watching but is not really used for movies #piracy. I don't think reason is because admins do not allow - I think users themselves don't want to, so they do not register and do not upload any movies. Though I sometimes time thinking about registering and uploading few movies.
