As I only recently joined I assumed that was normal performance for the browser portal and mostly stuck to the app.
On inspection it seems the ticker theme causes repeated requests to https://miy.pw/ which times out with 503: Service Unavailable. This is indeed avoided by switching to a theme without a ticker as you say, such as `qoto-no-ticker`.
Hope other folks pick up on this and switch themes for themselves. In fact, I wonder, is it possible to remove the themes that do this to avoid the problem?

Everyone please be aware that the service we used to use that provided tickers went down and doesnt plan to go back up.. This unfortunately slows down the default theme.
As such I switched the default theme to the no-ticket theme and this works just fine. However im not sure it will help for people already signed up on the server.
To fix the problem please go intto your preferences and change the theme to the no-ticket theme.
