@indiauplko It is professionally hosted, backed up daily, and running in a fully hardened data center.
It is paid for through donations of which I donated a large quantity of money to the fund. We currently have enough funds to operate well above current capacity for several years. I will donate more money should that ever become an issue.
While users are welcome to donate as well if they wish it is not required for our continued operation. I am happy to personally foot that bill for the foreseeable future. The bank account for #QOTO is stocked :)
@freemo @indiauplko I'd be glad to donate something, even if it is just a token amount. I'm not rollin' in it, but I do feel it is right to support initiatives like #QOTO that encourage dialogue.

Right now i just have my paypal donate for my open source company. which is a different entity so wouldnt be the best way to do it. I will set up a paypal donate for #QOTO at some point in case anyone wants to help out. I appreciate it. I'll keep you informed on that front when i get it set up.
@Surasanji Tell ya what, the best way you can help is to try to organize the community in positive ways.
Think of recurring events and/or hashtags we can do that will engage the community in interesting topics.
I think that would help way more than money. Of course, if you choose to help with money it will be appreciated as well.
