Not "alternative" .. its "additional" All the definitions of a word are valid they arent alternative or debated... "well" can mean "doing good" or it can mean "a hole with water at the bottom".. there isnt one definition that is right and the other is an alternative. Both definitions are valid and undeniable.

There is nothing even remotely in opposition about having different definitions for different context. Considering we do this with almost every word in the dictionary and you dont seem to have a problem with any of the other words it says a lot about you if this is the hill you choose to die on.
