There is no "primary" definition. They are all definitions all equally valid.
As was stated earlier you are hinting at some truth. To a doctor or anyone dealing with genetics or a persons genitals, then it is entierly appropriate to use sex and not gender when talking about males and females, in the context it makes sense. But thats as far as it goes, to suggest that this must imply otherwise is kind of absurd.
Thats like saying the word "tangent" must only be used in the technical sense of a line that intersects a single point on a circle... Its like if someone were to say "sorry about changing the subject and taking us on a tangent" and someone gets all hot and bothered and tell them they are using the word tangent wrong...
Sorry thats not how words work, they dont have singular privileged definitions and all others are invalid. In this case it is a purely bigoted response as it is clear you wouldnt behave this way with any other word we use with multiple definitions.
What nonsense are you talking about. I said there is no such thing that makes one definition primary or the other.. I never said it wasnt in the dictionary.
I also never said that female cant be used in reference to sex, it can and is a valid definition under certain circumstances if your talking about a persons genes or genitals.
Please get your facts straight, I never suggested I disliked one definition, I only said that all definitions are valid and how and when they are used is dictated in those definitions and by convention.

Not true. There is no "primary definition", so taht statement doesnt even make sense.
But as for the definition regarding sex, i never said we should avoid it or not use it. I only said that since the definition is about what genitals a person has then that is the context in which it is to be used.
