@design_RG Dude you have no idea.. i forgot just how much of a tech paradise my home here is.. I was getting a little down in europe and I realized when I got home it was because I didnt have access to the tech paradise to get my spirits up..

The flip side is I **hate** interacting with americans, so that takes a toll on me too.

Everyone assumes I'm an extravert because I tend to command a crowd at parties. Truth is I am absolutely an introvert. Being in crowds is draining even with one or two people. Being alone recharges me.

@freemo I wish I had the sk1llZ to command attention without coming across as a rude buffoon! At least I've learned how to chit-chat enough to get by in a highly social work environment*. I had to learn to fight my goodie-two-shoes nature and try to remember that The Rules are meant to be broken -- though admittedly my self-conscious, "know-my-place-itis" & "'I don't matter, but everyone else does!' syndrome" is still in control most the time. :terrymad: But at least I've learned and practice all sorts of facial expression & body language tricks and so on to not come across as either nervous, aloof, angry, and/or a RBF sourpuss most the time! * To remain vague enough to (hopefully) not self-doxx: service industry, but in a "classy" enough locale that I get full time with medical benefits and paid twice as much to do roughly the same work I'd do in most similar jobs. @design_RG

@design_RG I'll be here for at least 2 months.. depends how things progress.. I have a few considerations 1) I have business to conduct here with investors 2) I have an emergency setup for neighbors should the virus get bad 3) I wont return until the virus is under control in europe.
