Hey, anyone out there know where I can find a list of servers that provide adult content?

I have no intention of defederating or blocking any servers on the lit from QOTO itself. I do however want to provide the list to our new users so they have an easy way to block those domains on their personal accounts should they wish to make the timeline safe for work.

Thanks.

@freemo Agreed with that policy it also treats users here as having the ability to do that.

As a stem forum you may find anyone in to psychology may find being able to follow them is useful for their work / research etc.

@zleap Good point. Though also keep in mind we are more of a "place for stem people to hang out" rather than a "place for us to have curated stem content"

The idea being that the vast majority of users want one instance as their home and only that one instance. As such if you are simply personally interested in engaging with adult content for your own enjoyment that is a perfectly acceptable reason on its own.

@freemo I just remember baarag and pawoo.

Both have NSFW content.

@nate_river is pawoo drawings only or do they include real life pictures? same with baarag? I deally id like to seperate the two out on any list I provide.

@sherlock_holmes ummm no not at all, I just want to categorize it by breast size for thoroughness!

@freemo @sherlock_holmes Bragg and Sinbler are the two big instances that are intended for porn. But I think both require CWs
Isn't it better to simply provide a list with keywords they might want to block? I know that I blocked a lot of servers in the beginning since I was bombed with porn, hentei porn, suicide postings, etc... I think you would need to update the list every week if you want to provide it to users.

@freemo Is it more safe to block all domains and only whitelist the ones you want to be federated with?

@doltamalte Are you asking with regards to your own personal account or for the entire server?
