FYI I know its not easy to keep track of other cultures holidays. So just a remind in 2 days Ramadan is coming up. So if you have any Islamic friends dont forget to wish them a wonderful Ramadan (this is a rather important holiday for them) on Tuesday.

If I recall correctly Ramadan is one of the holidays they fast on, so it might be especially appreciated if offer them a nice home baked snack or meal in the day leading up to it as a nice gesture (I dont think this is a typical "gift" for the holiday I dont really know, but just seems like a thoughtful way to go).

If any Muslim friends would like to help steer me to good ideas on this one feel free to leave your thoughts int he comments.

1) Ramadan is a month in islamic calender. Muslims fast all the 30 days of the month from sunrise to sunset (nothing should go down the throat not even your own saliva)

2) Normally better to wish for the end of the ramadan (Eid) that's a big holiday and festival for muslims.

@mur2501 Thank you, good to know. I knew point 1, and knew point 2 was the big celebration. But wasnt aware that most well wishes were saved to the end.

@freemo
one thing you can do is not eat openly in front of fasting people :ablobcatwink:

I am a devout follower of all religions, including the religion of atheism.

@freemo it's nice to see someone actually put humanity more than his own community by greeting each other holyday.
Way to go sir.

@freemo just don’t offfer them a snacks before 6pm or they will be triggered af.
Jk. It’s just a bit rude since they could only eats between 6pm (that’s the average time of “adzan maghrib”. Basically a call of prayer).
To 4am (that’s the average time of “adzan subh”)
And don’t forget to come to their house at “eid” that’s the day when they cook a lot of delicious food lol.

@deesapoetra Sadly most of my Muslim friends live too far away to visit. But I will be sure to send them lots of love on Eid.

@freemo i’m sure you’ll be nice sir or else πŸ”« :ablobcatgrumpy:

@pthenq1

No Tuesday is the start of Ramadan. Eid is the end of Ramadan about a month later.

@deesapoetra

@deesapoetra @freemo
no one gets triggered, atleast anyway we don't expect non-muslims to know about our stuffs
