@valleyforge I mean, they arent wrong.. if i want to risk my life I should have that right. The important distinction here is that just because something is a smart or safe idea (like wearing a seatbelt) is not a good reason for a government to force it by law.

My body, my choice, and that includes harm, as it should.

That said there are some absurdist libertarians, that show up in the party. Hell their primaries can be a shit show of low-quality candidates with absurd ideas. Thankfully typically the one who rises to the top and gets the nomination, at least in the past few years, tends to have perfectly reasonable policies.
