As a fan of the framework laptops (havent bought one yet but plan to once a larger screen is availible) I really liked this. Apparently Linus is now an investor.

I must say this video bumped my level of respect for him up a notch as he was very honest and straightforward about it all.

@freemo Looks cool (good subs too, so could follow nicely). Lemme know when you ever bought one of those, I'm curious. ;)

@trinsec will do. Might be a while as I'm waiting for a larger display which may never come.

@freemo What larger display are we talking about? Resolution or physical size? And which?

@trinsec physical size, 17" ideally. I do need high resolution above 1080 too but I think it already has that part.

@freemo I'd rather place a 24" monitor or bigger at my workspace to hook the laptop up into. I've got a 15,8" laptop, big enough. At home it's closed, and hooked up to a 24" monitor and 32" TV. Saves me the weight too when biking to and fro job.

@trinsec I dont use laptops at workspaces. I'd rather have a seperate beefy desktop and the laptop used strictly when im on the go. I want to be able to be equally productive anywhere. But thats just me.

@freemo Fair enough. My laptop was a necessity from job, and I've kinda appopriated this thing to be my 'use for absolutely everything' kind of device. Mostly used at my place and at job, so there's always monitors available.

For on the go, I'm planning a small 13" lightweight device instead. Might check in about a month if the thing I want is released.

@freemo I watched it too and I don't think he even dropped it.
