Include in the insane drug wars and of course funding the cartels and running guns for them. Oh yeah, and the billions that the banks need so that they don't collapse. What else... Welp, nothing for the people, that's for damn sure.

At least when Obama spent half a billion, the national park near me got a makeover and the trails refreshed.... I miss that dude's spending... not his wars and not his anti-whistleblower bullshit.

This is why I say we should start treating the DOD like Congress treats the USPS. Throw in the DOJ too. Without plea bargaining our entire justice system would completely collapse anyway, but yea let’s make sure local PDs have fucking assault rifles and grenades.

I’m not in favor of defunding the police, though they probably dont need as much money as they do… I am in favor, however, of completely reforming the system from the ground up.

I’m not opposed to that viewpoint. I specifically don’t use terms like “defund the police” when I’m being political because of the baggage they carry. I don’t think the State never needs to use violence, the State is built around the idea that it has a monopoly on violence after all. However, the police are the State’s use of that violence against it’s own citizens. It’ll be near impossible to convince me they need the capability to do so much of it.
