A list is a group of entities you want to create timelines for. Replies is if you want to see the messages they sennd that are replies in that timeline too, or just the top level toots (and thenn you can click on them to drill down)

@freemo @trinsec Ah ... so "show replies to" is asking which replies I want to see, not who gets to see my replies.
If this is correct, I suggest the wording "show me list members' replies to toots from".
