Just in case anyone is curious it costs me a little over $1,200 a month to run QOTO and all its services.
@johnnylogic As of the moment we dont ask for donations, I pay out of pocket and have put enough money in the QOTO bank account to last us well over a year right now.

@freemo When the time comes, ask. You deserve to have users cover expenses. It is after all, free as in speech, not free as in beer.

@freemo On behalf of all citizens of QOTO, we *demand* that you immediately publish the PayPal or Venmo account to which we may contribute, to defray these costs.
It's very likely that when you do, you will quickly be 'overfunded". So, you should monitor said account, and when the balance becomes unseemly, temporarily close it to further contributions.
While it is a PITA for you, transparency about how this account is deployed will ensure a continued influx of funds from your very grateful QOTO'ers.
@Joel Fine, despitte my continued resistance to taking donations I will provide an account people can donate at if you really insist :) let me check what accounts I have to work with for that...
