I just rage quit #Firefox / #LibreWolf ... I gave it a good try, solid week... its unusable for me... back to #chrome
So was originally going to quit due to poor tab management (tabs dont resize as you get many of them and no tab groups).
I decided to give it an honest answer and tried to resolve these deal breakers via extensions.
All of the extensions i found are so poorly designed they arent usable in any useful way (hot keys dont work under some circumstances, after a few days they may freeze, etc)…
What issues were you running into?
FF works fine for me using PrivacyBadger and uBlockOrigin.
Yes, there are sites that will not work. I will not miss them, because I can find the content elsewhere.

Hmm. I have not tried tab managers. The way I do it is by trying to group tabs into separate windows. It is still a pain.
@SpaceLifeForm I used an extension which kinda does that in a more automated way... one window you flip between....
It was almost a solution except for the fact that its super buggy to the point that it almost makes things worse.

Firefox is the best browser out there.
@Revertron been trying every possible solution for a week now, and took suggestions... so far nadda
@freemo even so, pretty much any Chromium-based browser will be better than Chrome or Edge privacy-wise without sacrificing functionality. Including Vivaldi (which seems to be the one most recommended), Brave (which I use but some people boycott due to the founder's political views), ungoogled Chromium, probably Opera and whatever else is out there.
@Amikke When i said Chrome I dont mean vanilla chrome.. one of the forks for sure yea.
@sergeant I moved away from brave to librewolf at the start of this. The reason i moved away from brave is because it has been broken on wayland for months (you cant open dialog boxes like save boxes)... moved to librewolf which fixed that problem but is now broken in other ways.. ill probably move back to a chrome fork, maybe brave, but ill need to find some way to fix that like using an old version or something I dunno.
