I'd say there is a kind of binary happening when really WE ALL MUST $ELL OUT because we are forced / born into it.

And so, thus we can find it easy to call half good people bad and demonise, just as our emotions feel like 0 when in truth probably they are 3/4 ok / still have goodness.

And then for FSF or FSFE or even Stallman himself (although he's iron man) don't be surprised if they sell all out / need money / try something silly... not because I think they will or wish for it... but just expect it and play more the long-game of knowingness going towards simply purifying from bad waters each chapter to better waters / converting culture nicely... and perhaps not being all in too hard inside the construct we're in and then blaming others. Yes I do blame those before us more!

None of of us avoids the stains this swap leaves on us as we were born into the swampy stuff... and do have to clean it up like good citizens under better flags / logos (if any <--- which might be a sub point).

@freeschool sure, everyone has something he will fail. still depends on what the failure is if i consider it as morally corrupt or just a human failure. stallman didn't sell out for more than 30 years, and counting. does he have strange opinions sometimes? sure. does he try to rob people of their life? no.

my gripe is that the leadership of fsfe also is accused of sexism, still they try to cancel RMS by participating in a witch hunt. i hate double standards and bullshit woke witch hunts more than anything.

fsfe had to make it about woke shit and participated in cancel culture. those things just completely destroy any trust. i don't want to support people this morally corrupt. there are mistakes you can fix by acknowleding them and right the wrong. this isn't such a mistake. this is fubar.

All the dramas of not just ideals and logos to represent our ideals but also everyday average drama that people are doing as part of just being themselves and not training anything better (I mean that I don't think quality is that great to be spread by people or always a bold person has some lacking in something else or demonised for it and well people tend to emotionally push around the BS so I yes not surprising unless people can identify and train better things)

I usually aim for more mediocre examples also rather than Stallman-like extreme L) just to make it more fair on us other 'mortals' or those that are fighting out of a hut (http://freeschool.0id.org/house)

Simply put he's a bit of an extreme example to hold up against as anything like a man, an expert, almost anything.. also without really knowing him)

I'll give you an example, Stallman after a few emails couldn't / wouldn't answer why he wouldn't answer for some quite frankly straight easy things... AND he kept conversation going !
He kept asking me to say it again in other words which I did in 1 sentence, 10 sentences and longer... like even an idiot could skim and pick two words and simply run positively with it... so I conceded that ignoring was happening without any attempt on his part to say why or what he was feeling about again frankly simple stuff. Either the topic or something emotional on his side who knows- but great weakness or "when fish out of water... " / "say nothing" ignorance despite continuing conversation (which is great but weird) so he's still great and most people have bailed on me as anything greater than 3 levels deep or nested in terms of thinking about a topic inside a topic but anyway we're all humans and have to get over internalising and getting paranoid because probably that is worse than being positive and forward-punching,,, So despite being quite friendly I had to tap out from lack of [only he has answer to what was going on without obvious answer / hint]

I'm ok with Stallman, what can you expect via text I think is also moral of stories and all this medium?
That's why I recommended him to jump into audio chat for 5/10 mins despite the mails we had and after showing him the time taken by both in writing = hour(s) but even though he asked it still didn't happen (he asking me howto solve his email problems and I said simply - let's audio chat and gave him the Jitsi link or BigBluebutton option)

And I covered the bases in terms of time I said now or any time ok and even stay online 24/7 as Jitsi is near-0 bandwidth and I was working anyway just needed to put headset on!

It's enough people stood for what they did and then we even rotate...
