@elliswyatt No one can be an expert on everything, and while we may be compliant when we follow experts, we have a much better chance of things turning out well than if we feign expertise and the capacity to evaluate information when we are informed by dubious knowledge. Sure I was compliant in getting COVID vaccinations, but it served me well.

@elliswyatt yeah, the problem with “not everyone agrees” is that that are allowed to base their agreement on incomplete, inaccurate, false information. At this point, if you are denying recent climate change as a human-caused phenomenon, then you can be sure I’m judging your abilites to make informed decisions.

It’s actually interested me for a long time. Physicians, for example, who deny climate change. I think it shows just how incapable humans are of transferring their skills.

Logical inconsistencies. I can see them, and they make me question your judgement on everything.

I trust experts. I know they recognize when they are wrong and they change when they get better information and better ideas to explain information.

There is amateur video of a situation involving adults and children in the news in my area. Very distressing and definitely newsworthy. When the video was first shared by media, the children were not blurred, later they were.

I wonder what that meeting was like!
