Why, yes, I have started a podcast. It's embedded on my web site and you can find it here: bit.ly/3J0jtfP or embedded on my web site bit.ly/4axTBUo wherever you find podcasts. My audience is IT folks in schools. Please share.

Mindless exploring is fun, but it really isn’t engineering or science.

What do you do when you realize your goals are misguided?

Hey teachers… you can ask questions to which you don’t know the answer.

“Do not indoctrinate your children. Teach them how to think for themselves, how to evaluate evidence, and how to disagree with you.”
― Richard Dawkins

“We are all atheists about most of the gods that humanity has ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.”
― Richard Dawkins,

“You are trying to say that I am a silly robot following a predetermined course into destruction?”
― Isaac Asimov

Things that are imposed… rules, goals, etc…. May appear effective. Appearances are deceiving.

I've been observing leaders recently... they really are the problem in many cases.

I got $7.79 from folks who bought hardcopies of my books that are available under Creative Commons this week. That is $7.79 more than I have seen from my book I published traditionally.

If you are the person who always speaks whenever there is the chance to ask questions in meetings, you should know that most people don't listen to what you say, and if they do hear it, they don't care.

I am amazed at the number of people who claim to be advocates for inclusion who "don't need a microphone" in a large group.

I am worried about the teaching profession... I observed physical discomfort when the presenter said we should be concerned with learning more than with outcomes.

Sometimes AI does write funny tweets:

Just programmed my toaster to achieve sentience. Now it keeps arguing my toast is too burnt and needs to take over the kitchen.

Yeah... if you think the best use of AI is to catch students using AI to write your assignments, you don't understand AI... or teaching... or students.

I heard a colleague complain about the stressful morning they had preparing the data they were going to share. Friends, it was 10 slide with pie charts.

One thing I learned during 35 years in education: the folks who complain the most are the least competent.

The indignation at decisions makes me conclude you are just a whiner.
