I work with a "big idea" person who gets frustrated folks don't help her implement her ideas. Most of us who can implement big ideas are too busy implementing our own to help.

The same san be said of most other social systems.

Walking into the supermarket today, someone approached me and asked me to participate in a political act. I said, "You gotta be kidding." He indignantly said, "I didn't ask for your opinion" as I walked past. I stumped for politicians when I was younger. If you can't deal with rejection, you should avoid it, you do more harm than good to you candidate or cause.

The more I read about and use AI, the more I think it is similar to past technologies. It will affect our lives in irreversible ways, and the more active any of us are in using it, the less scary it will be and the more we will benefit from it.

When leaders tell folks to “staying in your lane” they are telling folsk to ignore how others' work affects you and to ignore how your affects others. It is terrible advice.

Once you decide on a test, you are no longer focusing on what you are trying to improve.
