The idea of using new technology for cognitive tasks has been well-received by some and ill-received by others, and that has been true throughout human history.

Metacognition is the working of learning what you know. Those who are metacognitive understand who they have learned, they can apply their learning in different situations, they can identify gaps in their knowledge, and they can fill in those gaps. WIthout this, you don't really know anything.

I am of the opinion that the future is sure to be uncertain for individuals if not for society. I am also of the opinion that the only way to successfully navigate an uncertain future is to be prepared to learn. This requires an adaptability we are not teaching.

If I am proven wrong, that is not evidence you are right.

Just because many famous events have been the product of conspiracies does not mean you should concoct a conspiracy to explain everything.

So many great theories are wrong. The advocates don't know they are wrong, but they are wrong nonetheless.

That transition from induction (I observe this, so I conclude that) to deduction (if my conclusion is correct I predict another thing will happen) is one many "evidence-based" folks never complete.

Data is fine... actually it isn't when it is valued more than understanding... which it usually is
