I was at a meeting today, when someone proposed we adopt a new LMS. Yeah... I made it clear I would not be leading that effort. I have too little productive time left to waste it on such trivial and contentious matters.
I've been a teacher since 1988. I learned early on not to respond to "let me know what I am missing." Understanding what you need to do is your first job as a student.
Naturalistic researchers accept that role of the individual in creating and understanding knowledge and meaning. That doesn't mean "reality" doesn't exist; it does mean different folks interpret it differently.
The traditional approach to education focused on transmitting declarative and procedural knowledge through methods like rote memorization and repetitive drills...that is not generally effective.
