I've been a mental health and drug counselor, a painter, dreamer and organizer for many years. Today I am focusing on getting through my partners fight against Cancer and taking down Fascists.I am a 50plus years vegetarian and spiritualist. Peace beautiful people.

#today I am 3000 miles from home trying to help my 90 year old father find assisted living or long term care. He doesn’t want to move to live with me. It’s so hard. Shout out to all with elderly parents.

@Mrfunkedude @zaxusemk @sandearl I was very active in the early days of chat rooms, but there was so many hurtful people who would just bully others just because they were anonymous.. I have pretty much been a voyeur ever since, I’ve always been shy in social situations and just couldn’t handle the meanness…trying to break out of my box.

For me, a new day has started (its almost 5AM).
#Today I'm at the gym first. Getting some exercises in to start the day.
Then I'll visit my parents, take my mum to Germany for grocery shopping (we live near the German border).
Hopefully in the afternoon I can ride my hometrainer and game a little. There are several games I'd love to play more. 😊

I saw a toot about how Mastodon isn’t a suitable network for social movements.. posted on a social network with 8 million accounts that has no adverts, is volunteer run, is open source, has no owner and is end to end free of big technology companies.

I’m up for keeping Mastadon social #today… so I thought I would share the big project I worked on this year. I didn’t think it was going to be a big project but I was so so wrong. I #crossstitch and made this quilt for my granddaughter- pictured is the whole thing and two closer pics and my son and gf showing it to the baby on Christmas Day.
