Mass General Hospital has removed their statement saying that patients cannot ASK practitioners to mask.

Major reversal.

Everyone should be asking for N95 masks to protect themselves and their loved ones. Standard of care does not allow for preventable infections in hospitals.

I don't think it's sufficiently sunk in for people that the entire "controversy" over Bud Light's partnership with Dylan Mulvaney was that she exists and the right doesn't want trans people to exist.

She didn't do anything. They sent bomb threats to beer bottling plants and cowed a brand into submission over a popular trans woman merely existing.

The right is saing they get decided who is allowed to live their lives in peace and who isn't, and they'll enforce it with threats and violence.

Getting pretty sick of seeing gun violence being framed as a mental health issue. In the UK you have more chance of winning the lottery than you do of being seriously harmed by a stranger with a diagnosable mental health condition. Many American gunmen seem motivated by hatred or women and minorities, a horrible trait but not a mental illness. Mentally ill ppl are statistically more likely to use guns for suicide than murder. So stop it.
