@MarcinW in the US media they used to mostly say Global Warming. If I recall correctly that changed around 20 years ago (not sure on exact timing - the change took time). The "official" line was that Climate Change is more accurate because other things than just temperature change like changes in wind and precipitation patterns. But I agree with you, they should have stuck with Global Warming, or Global Heating for the reasons you state.
Can hydrogen powered plants turn steel production 'green'?
The production of steel today still means the release of a lot of climate-damaging CO2. Globally, the steel industry is responsible for a 6 percent of Co2 emissions. The aim is to change this as quickly as possible. In the future, hydrogen could replace coal, which is currently used to melt steel.

all those things should have absolutely be given but cluster munitions would be needed anyway. Russia **still** has a significant advantage in artillery fires even though Ukraine tried to stockpile for the offensive. and the West can't ramp up the ammo production to levels needed to counteract that any time soon. US has several million cluster munitions. they will make immediate and measurable impact on the battlefield, assuming a good quantity is given.
@kevinrothrock same to you
@kevinrothrock I hope by "oof" you mean "good". This is clearly necessary and should have been done months ago.
Tuesday was the hottest day on record at 17.18°C global average, breaking the previous global temperature record of 17.01°C set on ... *checks notes* ... Monday.
When I started on Mastodon, people would advise me to “only Boost posts.” Since there’s no algorithm that places a value on Favorites, “only Boosts have value.”
I disagree completely.
When people Favorite my posts, they unwittingly introduce themselves to me. I have discovered some very interesting people that I may not have if they didn’t Favorite my posts.
Keep ‘em coming. It’s nice to meet you.
@ChrisO_wiki sounds like good news and hopefully will lead to even more dysfunction for the Russian army.

Good morning, readers: Kyiv remains in Ukrainian hands. But, last night the city endured its first air raid in 12 days. As Ukrainians deal with the 493rd day of war, some turn to escapism in the form of tabletop role-playing games. http://counteroffensive.news
