If you are not alarmed about the direction this province is heading you need to be.
NOTHING is out of bounds or untouchable for the thugs in charge at QP.
It is not just healthcare that will be unrecognizable when these sociopaths are finally tossed out of power.

very good news.

Oh, the search feature is coming to Mastodon after all: github.com/mastodon/mastodon/p

This clearly seems to follow up the VyrCrossont's idea of the extended search feature that finds public posts.

Gargron: "It is my decision to unite all discovery features in one setting, because all of this stuff is an expected part of a social network and splitting it up into different settings that everyone has to opt-into one by one just to get the same behaviour they get by default on other social media seems like a bad user experience. Also, discoverable is already a federated attribute." #Mastodon #Search #OpenSource

Just came back from the dentist (cleaning). They used to be highly COVID conscious until recently. But today I was greeted with this sign in the waiting room. 🤦‍♂️

Another nail in the #lk99 coffin: arxiv.org/abs/2308.03110
It looks more and more likely that there was never any superconductivity, at room temperature or otherwise, in these samples 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yep. I don't know how many times I tried to get people to realize that in Canada the LOWS for a year post-Omicron were higher than the PEAK during Delta.

5) Or 80 per 100.
6) Or 70 per 100.

8) There is one nation that has about 50 guns per 100 people.
9) That nation is Yemen.
13) Fucking YEMEN.
10) Yemen hasn't had a mass shooting since 2013's Sana'a Attack.

I'm sure none of these facts are at all connected.

Hey, remember when Canadian Blood Services dropped mask mandates in an effort to get more people to donate, and (surprise!) it didn't work?

Anyway, in the UK now you can't donate blood if you have long COVID.

There are excellent non-profits making COVID tools and information accessible. For example:

What have I missed?

Does your local library have a CO2 monitor lending program?

“Watching as professional crybabies like Ben Shapiro tried to get people to boycott “Barbie” because one of the actresses in the film (Hari Nef, who played Doctor Barbie) is trans, and seeing that has absolutely no effect on the film’s success demonstrates that the Bud Light and Target controversies and capitulations only became big deals because Bud Light and Target responded to the outrage as though it were genuine.”

Remember that abysmal attempt at creating a fake paper detector that #Science magazine trumpeted? The one that just looked to see if you used your institutional email address, had international collaborators, and were (not) affiliated with a hospital?

The one that instantiated the authors biases and then they turned around and used as evidence for those biases?

Science has just published the letter that Brandon Ogbunugafor and I wrote.
