Russia attacking Kherson. So in Kremlinworld, Russia is attacking Russians. Yet the Russian media are not very outraged about this. 🤨

@AVindman Repugnant stuff. Great respect to you for standing up to Musk and his minions. I didn't think I could hate Musk more than I already did but seeing his attacks on you today and all the hordes of trolls he unleashed on you changed my mind.

Overwhelming evidence of outdoor transmission of Omicron by a man jogging through a park without a mask. Using surveillance videos, Chinese CDC investigators identified 256 people who passed within a meter of Patient zero as he jogged through the park without a mask. 13 (5%) were infected. He infected another 20 out of 20,496 park visitors beyond 1 meter. Nothing beats a surveillance state for contact tracing. covid.dropcite.com/articles/0b

Covid Medical Journal of Aust Article: More Proof Covid is a Multi-System Cluster Bomb

IF further proof was needed that infection with SARS-CoV-2 has long-term sequelae for the human body, research led by Monash University has provided it, highlighting the need for GPs and other frontline physicians to be aware of their patients’ COVID-19 history.

The research, led by epidemiologist and PhD candidate Stacey Rowe, and coauthored by Victorian Chief Health Officer Professor Brett Sutton and renowned infectious disease epidemiologist Professor Allen Cheng, among others, is published by the MJA.

Putin can stop selling oil to Turkey, India and China any day he likes. Except he won't because he can't afford it, and he hardly wants to anger those countries.

It's cowardice and half-measures that got us in this mess in the first place. The longer we drag this on the higher the cost and the higher the risk.

It's infuriating that countries continue to pussyfoot around Putin fearing minor inconveniences, when it's clear that the least-cost option for the world economy, for Europe and above all for Ukraine is to finish off him and his army as fast and decisively as possible.

This is the latest demonstration that Putin-appeasers are alive and going strong behind the scenes in spite of the complete and total bankruptcy of their approach.

However, many countries are pushing for a cap in the $60-70 range, close or above the current selling price, continuing to fear retaliation from Russia.

The G7 and EU countries aim to decide the level of a price cap on Russian oil on Wednesday. This will be a momentous decision. 🧵

Every nation in the West has the same problem at the moment. We all have significant constraints on defence production, and limited short term capacity to expand. We will need to fix this if we are to continue supporting Ukraine, and deter China from a grave miscalculation in the western Pacific.

An excellent, and much needed, examination of air operations and ground based air defence in #Ukraine. Lots of lessons here for western air and ground forces, and for the development of modern, integrated air and missile defence systems. Thanks @Jack_Watling and @Justin_Br0nk

1/ Mobilised Russians in Sverdlovsk region are suffering from a mass outbreak of infectious disease, but doctors are unable to treat them due to a lack of equipment and medicine. This is likely the result of overcrowded, insanitary conditions at their training area. ⬇️

Scientists have finally achieved it. After years of painstaking research and lab experiments, mankind has finally created the purest, most concentrated, dumbest possible take.
